Nourishing meals for your family
We know families affected by cancer are busy caring for their sick child while working, running a household and juggling extracurricular activities. We are here for you!

Cooking & Caring
Cooking is a form of love and friendship –- an art, a skill and a gift we share with the people who matter most. Our Cooking & Caring program, presented by ENMAX, provides families with delicious meals to nourish your family in your time of crisis. Please reach out if you need support with meals. We can help.
“There are things you do because they feel right and they may make no sense and they may make no money and it may be the real reason we are here: to love each other and to eat each other’s cooking and say it was good.” — Anonymous

Pizza Night
Every Wednesday night on Unit 1 at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, you’ll find a group of dedicated Kids Cancer Care volunteers hosting a Pizza Night. This special night allows families to eat together, talk and connect. Sometimes a slice of warm pizza and a warm smile is the perfect thing to get you through your day.
“Pizza night is so great! Not only is the pizza delicious, chatting with the amazing volunteers and other families on the unit is truly therapeutic. Thank you Kids Cancer Care!!” – Parent
