One-to-one tutoring in person or online
Kids Cancer Care matches patients, survivors and siblings in kindergarten to grade 12 with tutors, who provide online or in-person one-to-one tutoring. These tutoring sessions help learners work towards specific academic goals, while boosting their confidence and helping them develop learning skills and confidence.
If your family is looking for a tutor, please reach out to be added to the waiting list. If you are interested in volunteering as a tutor, you can find out more on our volunteer page.
Our Education Support Program is presented in memory of Steven Fowler who loved school and loved learning.
If you have a child who needs one-to-one tutoring at this time, please contact Rachel McInnes.

What our families are saying
Before cancer, I was reserved and timid, but now look at me! Look at what I have been through and what I know I can do. Kids Cancer Care is helping to shape the person I am today.

What our families are saying
Kids Cancer Care has given us another family, one who understands what we are going through, a support system for when we are tired. And it gives us a chance to give back too.

What our families are saying
Cancer is scary. It changes the way you look at the world and how you feel about yourself. By being with other kids like me, I felt a new normal and I feel like I have a place in this world again.
